My dad (William Abbott Butler, Sr.) got me interested in this genealogy. I consider myself a novice but fortunately those who came before me did quite a lot of the leg work.

Beyond putting together family trees, this web site explores our roots and offers stories of some of our ordinary and extra-ordinary ancestors.  Everyone has a story! We hope you enjoy this web site.
